Established on May 1, 1961, Taian Insurance is one of the earliest private non-life insurance companies funded by gentry, renowned doctors and entrepreneurs. Our capital, amounted to NT$2.97 billion, provides solid protection for our policyholders.The overall business performance has been evaluated twAA and A- by Taiwan Ratings and S&P respectively. A “Stable” outlook shows a solid capital level and excellent operation performance.
SERVICE
Taian Insurance business includes Motor Insurance, Residential Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Liability Insurance, Transportation and Vessel Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, and Health Insurance, etc. We also develop competitive products to meet market demands in order to provide various options for our policyholders.
FEATURE
Taian Insurance has been devoting on developing high value-added services and product differentiation. We are the first in the industry to establish a 24-hour call customer service center and assign a task force to be in charge. For the purpose of meeting various needs of customers, Taian Insurance expanded our friendly services in 2022 by providing island-wide sign-language interpretation service available for reservation, as well as text-to-speech function for E-policy by simply scanning a QR code. We've been providing safe, warm and innovative services to our policyholders while making sure that we comply with “Principle for Financial Service Industries to Treat Clients Fairly”. Our motor claim service is also the first in the industry that obtained the ISO Accreditation. Our outstanding quality of services such as exclusive personal claims service and “Lady's Care” service which helps female drivers when accidents happened, made us become one of the few top 20% insurers for the second time since the enforcement of “Principle for Financial Service Industries to Treat Clients Fairly” announced by FSC.

When it comes to talent development, Taian Insurance welcomes people with various kinds of skills. By combining internal and external educational resources, we built a comprehensive training structure and therefore we are able to introduce new kinds of training such as “Nurturing Talents with Creativity - A Lifetime Odyssey” and “Assessment Center (AC)”, etc..
